From Honey Oak and a Broken Shower to a Bathroom They Love
A dated bathroom, a clear vision, and a plan before anything was touched. Here's what we built — and how it came together.

A Bathroom Ready for Its First Real Upgrade
John and Connie had lived with the same dated bathroom for years — honey oak on every cabinet, baseboard, and window trim, a corner Jacuzzi tub that hadn't been used in ages, and a shower door that was literally falling off its hinges. They were ready for a change. When Connie spotted a dumpster across the street and knocked on a neighbor's door to ask who did the work, she got her answer. She hired Ryan before she left.
Reclaiming the Space
We pulled the Jacuzzi tub and used that reclaimed footprint for two things the bathroom was missing: an expanded shower and a full-height linen tower. Connie had been storing sheets wherever they'd fit. That problem disappeared. While the tile floor was up, we added in-floor radiant heat — the right move to make at the right moment. The entire trim package came out and went back in white. A comfort-height toilet and extended vanity completed the update.
How It Was Managed
Greg, our lead carpenter, was on-site 8 to 5 every day. The homeowners knew each morning exactly what was happening and who was showing up. No surprises, no gaps in communication, no days where nothing moved.
The Result
A bathroom that finally matches how they want to live in it. The shower is the standout. The linen tower solved a daily frustration. The warm floors, white trim, and updated fixtures pulled it all together into something that looks intentional from every angle. They've since asked us to bid their hall bathroom and their deck — and they're waiting for us specifically.
